  1. In this “joke” it [subject!!!] is shown as the seller offers a product that affects their health seriously and as he the costumer understands how harmful it is, he decides to buy another similar product that will cause the same effect on his body. That is, the seller is selling the package of tobacco showing the consequences it has and the buyer rejects it seeing that it is harms his health.
This joke can be made with another different product and the result would be the same.

  2. This mini comic is good and is entertaining. You would have to try it in real life with some people who don’t like you [or: “who you don’t like“?]. In this way they would rot in their insides and you would laugh at them. I would like to be the seller of the poison.

What poison? Have you understood the comic strip?
It hardly makes any sense…; besides, it’s a bit too short.

  4. The comic has a very important moral and it’s funny to see how people pay for something that is killing them slowly.
It’s also curious to see how the government prohibits killing and everyone who does will be is condemned for it, but they are the first to do it with tobacco sales (all for their benefit, logically).
Do Shall we hang them? 😉

  5. The vignettes teach us that, without realizing, when buying tobacco, little by little, he orders and pays his own death. The snuff Tobacco is a silent killer and although at first its consumption can be rewarding, the reality is sad and hard: it produces respiratory problems that usually end up in suffering from lung cancer.

In this pic the potion is compared to tabaco. The boy doesn’t want the potion, but yes the tabaco, being same, only that tabaco take longer to kill us.

  7. The first idea that comes up into my mind is: “You are already killing yourself, man” because while smoking, you are killing yourself slowly. So many people don´t realize or maybe just ignore all the harmful substances they breathe in while they are smoking a cigarette such as cadmium – also found in batteries; nicotine – used as insecticide; ammonia- used as a toilet cleaner, among others.
From my point of view, I think this comic is a metaphor that shows the tobacco – cigarettes – as assassins, as well as makes us think about how bad can cigarettes be and it is a good way to persuade people of it. In my opinion, perhaps it could maybe be used as an ad of a campaign against smoking.

  8. This is funny. This is really funny because it represents our society perfectly. How The way people poison themselves everyday, more and more, and how hypocrite they are. But I have to say that now, everything poisons you: the air, the things you eat… Nothing on this planet remains pure. Eventually, we are all going to die, but why to speed it up smoking? I can’t understand it. Some people say that they don’t mind to do destructive things to their bodies and lives if they like it (including harder drugs). It’s an interesting oppinion because they are their lives are theirs, but I can’t share it. Why? Well we would start to talk about moral questions and about if society would work and that’s too long. Maybe next time.

Last week, they released a new service for sale, which consists of the hiring of some professional assassins, who killed 7 million people last year. This service costs €40 a week.

He says that “Who would pay to die slowly”; the client doesn’t stop to think about the problem of what is smoke smoking is and in the end, tell if he gives he asks for a pack of Camels.

  11. I think this comic is about a man who wants to cheat the boy who is going to buy. He wants him to become a murderer and so he kills people by poisoning their drink. The boys says no, nobody would pay for that.
I would not pay for making a silly thing!

  12. Paying someone to kill you shows cruelty and stupidity. Although life is sometimes hard you mustn’t give up because nothing is everlasting here and problems can be overcome. In addition, I don’t think it would be a good business to be a murderer and the killer should not be satisfied with his work.

  13. It is the funniest comic I have ever read! (Because I don’t like the comics and I don’t like reading). This strip is a good example for smokers. The first thing I thought was “Why do they smoke heavily if this ‘poison’ is killing them slowly?” I think the message is clear. Moreover, this message could change those people’s mind.
Everything is true in the image. This image should reach more people so that they could be conscious about the problem.

  14. I think that is stupid to pay for this service. Why kill slowly? And why pay for that? I can do it for free. The idea of ninja assassins is interesting, but if you know you are going to be killed, it is not fun. And what it doesn’t have make any sense is poisoning the person. If you poison him, you can’t eat the body. It’s better to kill him quickly, and then do some interesting recipes with a fresh human body. It’s so difficult earn to get one, why waste it? I obviously prefer the idea of cigarettes: you only waste the lungs, the rest is useful.

  15. It comes to my mind that the store employee (I don’t know if it’s irony or truth) proposes the man a new service that is as bad for health as the pack of Camels and the man (that who didn’t know the effects of tobacco says “no”, he says why would someone pay to die slowly.
Right afterwards, he asks the store employee to give him a pack of Camels because he doesn’t know that he’s paying to poison himself slowly.

  16. It is a story that can be interpreted as fun and entertaining but in reality fact it is quite sad because it is showing us a horrible reality that we still live in which people pay to “die”. In this original way, through a comic with drawings, it shows us a wrong action that thousands of people make every day.

I think it’s a very weird comic because it’s a really weird story because it has a very strange ending and leaves you intrigued because the shop assistant told a person you do not know and you can put yourself at risk because the other can tell you I did not just catch the police [Sorry, that makes no sense! 😦 Perhaps it would help if you used some punctuation…] but I’ll read it again and see if I finish understanding get to understand everything about the end of the pack of camels.

  18. The first thing that comes up into my mind is: This is surreal. If I went to that store and they offered me that service, I would think they are crazy. Everybody would ask: “Who would pay for that?” because it’s weird to pay for something that kills you, or so we believe…
The We smokers really pay for a slow death constantly and we aren’t aware of it. It’s also ironic because in both cases they offer us the same service but posed in another a different way, and for us one case is normal and the other is not.

  19. I think it’s a way of making us think about tobacco and it´s its consequences.
This comic it´s is a metaphor. With “the guys who killed 7 million people last year” refers to tobacco corporations and the poison are is the cigarettes. The man was surprised when the other man said there were people who pay paid for that, but he buy bought a pack of camels and it’s the same thing: You pay for to be killed.

It also says that tobacco is like a killer but locked in a package with 20 bullets.
But as they are flawed [???] they don’t think what is necessary in of their consequences but only in of giving themselves “pleasure”.

  22. This comic is about a man who goes to a tobacco shop tobacconist’s, drugstore to buy tobacco and the dependent shop assitant tells him a story. This story is a metaphor since it means that those guys who kill so many people a year are tobacco corporations. But the man doesn’t understand it and continues buying to buy it.

  25. The first thing that comes to my mind after reading this is like “What?, that it’s impossible.” Nobody will would pay for a service that it kills yourself, but yes, although the phrase sounds very strong, we pay for the death.
When people go to a tobacconist’s shop, they don’t literally say literally “I want to buy my death”, but little by little, you are buying that, your death. So, in 2 both cases, it’s the same: you buy a service that it kills you.

When in the text he says that his boys have killed 7 million people, it means that the tobacco has killed them. The man is surprised when he tells him to pay that paying for it is a foolishness, because it is poison. My conclusion is that smoking is paying to die, just like that.

After reading this dialogue I have noticed that it refers to the Three Wise Men, that is, it refers to the dates of Christmas when people go to buy the gifts to the stores to buy the gifts. and We can also observe on these dates that, on these dates, the advertising of on the TV is referred so that we buy the jumps, colonies or clothes that come out announced that would make reference to the pocima. Also in the last bullet we can see that refers to the camels is the companions of the magical kings. [I can’t understand what you mean…]

  29. What the text wants us to say to tell us is that tobacco is like a poison that kills millions of people around the world, since in the long term it’s very bad for health. Tobacco is the most used drug in the world in the 21st century in the world. I think that people are not really aware of how harmful it is until they get any serious sickness [disease].

  30. When I‘ve finished reading this comic, I thought about people who smokes and is killing themselves by doing it. Moreover, and perhaps more importantly, they aren’t aware of that and they continue keep on smoking. They don’t realize that they [subject!] are paying for their own death. This is something that is very well reflected in this comic when the shop assistant tries to tell him which are the consequences of doing it with the “new service that kills you slowly” they offer. Finally, if we go one step further, we can realize that it isn’t only about smoking tobacco, we can apply it to other facets of life and to the day-to-day things.

  33. This picture is warning us that smoking is worse that than if you were drinking poison, because the tobacco contains chemical elements quimos, rat-poison and other poisons and the tobacco can kill you slowly and you cannot realize. The Tobacco is also very expensive and you would have to spend a lot of money for smoking. The Tobacco kills many people every year and this way of killing is legal, although it shouldn’t be legal.

  34. This comic talks about how harmful it is to smoke smoking is and, nevertheless, the smokers pay a lot of money for it. The comic compares tobacco with a poison that kills little by little, a real comparison, in spite of the fact that smokers continue to buy this drug; but they will would never buy the poison because they know it will would kill them. This story calls smokers useless stupid: they actually buy the poison that kills millions of people every year.

In my opinion they aren’t aware about of the health problems that smocking causes, but, are they the only ones responsible (ones)? From my point of view, the government is the culprit: many anti-tobacco campaigns but then the cities are riddled with publicized fences billboards announcing alcohol and tobacco. Where is the sense? Is the sense in the money generated by tobacco? Does it make any sense? Perhaps, it’s the money generated by tobacco that makes sense. -The message of the comic is … that smoking kills.-
